The Microneedling Facial Treatment
The process involves rolling a wand or pen affixed with mini-needles to create tiny wounds. These wounds are miniscule and stimulates healing factors that boost skin strength, texture & radiance. Your skin senses the needle punctures as damage and shifts abruptly into repair mode. As it tries to correct the damage, your body amps up elastin and collagen production.
Microneedling is a popular skin rejuvenation technique that regenerates collagen and elastin to counteract scars, wrinkles, fine lines, and large pores. Results can be seen in just one treatment and continues to boost the appearance of your complexion for months afterward.
Available in Different Needle Length:
Dermathod EZ Jet Stamp (0.25) -fine lines, dehydated skin, dull skin
0.25mm Needles - for fine lines and wrinkles, large pores, dull skin, loose skin lacking elasticity, hyperpigmentation & dark spots
0.5mm Needles - for atrophic (rolling & boxcar) scars caused by acne, deep wrinkles
1mm Needles (for body only) - for post-burn scar, post-traumatic scar, hypertrophic scars, varicella scars
The length of needle selected for an individual patient depends upon the indication for microneedling.
Microneedling’s effects are comparable to laser and chemical peel treatments. Depending on the choice of needles used, your recovery may take 3 to 10 days. Your complexion may need 14-21 days to bounce back after a medium or intensive microneedling session.
